Job summary

EY UK is seeking a Senior Manager in the Direct Tax Compliance and Reporting CoE to lead multi-country tax accounting engagements. You will deliver Group Tax Accounting/Reporting services under US GAAP and IFRS, redesign tax reporting delivery, and ensure high-quality compliance for EY’s global clients.

You will mentor staff, manage cross-border teams, and collaborate with internal tax and finance functions to drive process improvements and standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in US GAAP and IFRS tax accounting provisions and projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and IAS 12 frameworks.
• Experience providing tax services to a portfolio of clients across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Tax Accounting & Reporting: design and implement tax operating models for multinational clients.
• Lead the preparation and review of interim, quarterly, and year-end tax provisions under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Oversee tax reporting deliverables and GAAP reconciliations across the Group.
• Lead BEPS Pillar Two and OECD GloBE framework discussions and implementations.
