Job summary

EY UK is seeking a Manager to join the Direct Tax Compliance and Reporting CoE. You will support multi-country client engagements in tax accounting and direct tax, delivering Group Tax Accounting/Reporting under US GAAP and IFRS, and help redesign how we deliver tax compliance and reporting.

You will lead process improvements, mentor junior staff, coordinate with internal tax and finance teams, and ensure high-quality outputs aligned with IFRS, US GAAP and SOX, while staying ahead of BEPS Pillar

Qualifications

• ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA/CPA qualified or equivalent
• Strong tax accounting skills and working knowledge of ASC 740 and/or IAS 12
• Experience in corporate tax and providing tax services to a portfolio of clients
• Proactive with opportunities for business development
• Supervisory skills and ability to coach team members
• Experience managing international projects and budgets

Responsibilities

• Support tax accounting provisions under IFRS and US GAAP across multi-country engagements
• Coordinate tax reporting deliverables from controllers and tax managers
• Contribute to IFRS/GAAP disclosures and reconciliation of GAAP differences
• Ensure SOX controls and audit processes are embedded in routines
• Lead onshore/offshore teams to deliver high-quality client service
• Mentor and develop junior staff in ASC 740 and IAS 12
