We are currently looking for a Senior Manager who can make significant contributions to the FS Operations team with a specific focus on Capital Markets, through sector expertise, client engagement, identification and delivery of new business opportunities. You will help grow the Capital Markets business by contributing to revenue targets, expanding the pipeline of opportunities, and developing value propositions for the market in which we operate. We are looking for an experienced individual who is highly motivated, passionate about what they do, and can add further to the continued success of our market-leading capital markets advisory team.

Description of the role:

• Manage programmes and projects through all key stages of a transformation initiative, from diagnostic to implementation.
• Proactively manage and deliver large, complex client engagements to ensure design, scoping, production of deliverables, project and financial management, and quality review.
• Liaise with clients on delivery and implementation issues.
• Identify and develop business opportunities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
• Lead engagements in consulting services covering advisory, implementation support, and post-implementation reviews.
• Support business development across key propositions, challenging new models of delivery and operational changes.
• Manage and mentor teams of 4-5 people.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships within the sector, leveraging industry content and delivery capability.

Leadership & Management:

• Perform senior roles in delivery, mentoring, and coaching team members.
• Develop and convert a pipeline of opportunities into sales.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, leveraging industry expertise.

Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance:

• Work as an Engagement Manager on sold projects, managing risks and financials.
• Lead and manage multiple complex client programmes with accountability for resources, over-runs, billing, and recovery.
• Develop solutions and demonstrate SME expertise in transformation and best practices.
• Build and leverage relationships internally and externally.
• Lead and manage teams effectively.
• Present to senior and C-suite decision-makers.

The Person:

• Deep experience in buy-side, sell-side, or financial market infrastructure firms, or consulting in these areas, with significant transformation project exposure.
• Understanding of industry, market, and regulatory drivers in capital markets.
• Knowledge of financial markets trends and transformation themes.
• Experience managing diverse and complex client programmes.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
