Job summary

Family Assessment Service in Reigate is seeking a Registered Manager to lead the service, ensuring high-quality parenting and parent capacity assessments while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for families.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with Local Authorities, Courts, Cafcass, and other stakeholders to drive service delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in children's social care or family assessment services.
• Minimum 2 years in a Registered Manager or senior leadership role within the last 5 years.
• Proven experience overseeing parenting assessments or similar.
• Strong safeguarding and risk management knowledge.
• Experience working with Local Authorities, Courts, Cafcass and other statutory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and management to the assessment team.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards are met.
• Oversee staffing, rotas, supervision and development.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting to commissioners and funders.
• Monitor KPIs, performance and service outcomes.
