Commonwealth Of Virginia’s Center for Career and Leadership Development (CCLD) seeks an Assistant Director for Employer Programs in Norfolk, VA. The role designs and delivers employer-facing services that connect students to full-time, part-time, internships, co-ops, and other work opportunities.

You will cultivate relationships with employers, plan recruiting events, coach students, and support campus-wide career initiatives, including during university closings as needed.

Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of employer relations, university recruiting practices and related workflows.
• Experience with event planning processes and career center programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service abilities.
• Ability to build relationships with local, regional, national, and international employers.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and evaluate employer programs and services to increase student and alumni access to employment opportunities.
• Plan and execute employer recruitment events, career fairs, and on-campus opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with employers and support sourcing, education, and outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate with campus partners to align services with strategic goals and student needs.
