Job summary

EY Leeds is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Tax to lead client engagements and advise on complex tax matters within a busy Corporate Tax team. You will manage advisory, compliance and reporting work for multinational clients, driving quality and value.

The role emphasizes leadership, business development, and mentoring junior staff in a globally connected firm with flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Corporate Tax from practice or from in-house tax background.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Negotiation and stakeholder management experience.
• Business development skills to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with ability to coach junior staff.
• Delivery of quality work.

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain relationships with clients, both existing and new.
• High-level management of the successful delivery of technically complex advisory, compliance and reporting engagements.
• Provide exceptional client service with responsibility for quality provided.
• Collaborate with other tax specialist teams.
• Grow networks and relationships internally and externally.
• Help people to develop through supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
• Lead team initiatives, covering all aspects of leading a successful team.
