Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Tax to join the Reading office. The role focuses on managing complex advisory, compliance and reporting engagements for multinational and UK groups, with an emphasis on client relationships and high-quality delivery.

You will work within EY's Corporate Tax team in Reading, supporting growth and development through mentoring staff and collaborating with other tax specialists. The role offers flexible, hybrid working with two days in the office.

Qualifications

• Experienced corporate tax practitioner (Minimum of 4 years’ experience)
• ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification / or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualification

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain relationships with clients both existing and new clients
• High level management of the successful delivery of technically complex advisory, compliance and reporting engagements
• Providing exceptional client service with responsibility for quality provided
• Working collaboratively with other tax specialist teams
• Grow networks and relationships internally and externally
• Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff
• Lead team initiatives, covering all aspects of leading a successful team
