Job Description:

Transform the future of logistics safety as a Sr. Manager on Amazon Shipping's Compliance team. In this role, you will lead initiatives to enhance safety and quality standards across our shipping network. You'll work with our product and program teams on scalable solutions to automatically detect defects impacting safety and quality. You will collaborate with our pricing teams to charge for these defects, and work with our customer success team to address the underlying root causes.

As an individual contributor, you'll analyze complex data to identify trends, implement proactive safety measures, and build scalable solutions that protect both our shipping partners and front-line associates. Success requires strategic thinking, adaptability, and a passion for operational excellence.

This role offers an opportunity to pioneer new approaches in a rapidly evolving business space while making a significant impact on supply chain safety and efficiency. The ability to work in an ambiguous and changing environment is essential.

Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing strategies to identify, capture, and proactively address safety and quality defects in the supply chain.
• Collaborating with partner teams to scale automatic defect detection efforts.
• Analyzing data and trends to improve compliance processes and outcomes, and working with customer success teams to drive these improvements.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to integrate compliance initiatives into broader business strategies.
• Quickly adapting to evolving business needs and industry regulations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  • Experience in compliance, audit, or risk management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders without direct reporting relationships
  • Experience in internal audit and risk management or equivalent
  • Strong track record of implementing process improvements and safety programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Experience developing and implementing standards, policies, and programs or equivalent
