Job summary

The Children's Investment Fund Foundation invites applications for a Senior Manager, SRHR - HIV, TB and Innovative Financing. You will lead a portfolio of catalytic investments to improve access, affordability, and supply security, engaging with manufacturers, governments and global health institutions to translate access barriers into practical financing structures.

The role combines investment pipeline development with hands-on deal execution, aiming to maintain a prioritized transaction

Responsibilities

• Identify and originate catalytic investment opportunities across CIFF's HIV, TB and SRHR portfolio.
• Develop investment theses for priority diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, devices and partnerships, including access problem and financing gap.
• Assess barriers to product introduction, procurement, manufacturing and market-shaping to unlock faster, affordable scale.
• Design early-stage deal concepts with rationale, demand, instrument and path to execution.
• Build a prioritized pipeline to support 3–5 approvals or launches per year, aligned with strategy.
• Lead transaction execution from concept to due diligence, approvals, contracting and launch.
• Structure investments using recoverable grants, guarantees, debt, equity-like instruments and milestone payments.
• Negotiate terms with manufacturers, investors, DFIs and platforms balancing price and access.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance and Grants Management to ensure executable, compliant deals.
• Prepare investment papers and analyses outlining strategic fit, impact, risks.
