This is an exciting opportunity to join our External Communications and Engagement function which is a vital part of Barnardo's Strategy and External Affairs department. The function plays a key role in helping to drive engagement and relevance with Barnardo's external audiences through content which inspires more people to join the charity; to donate, volunteer, shop and campaign with us to drive positive change for children and young people.
This role is responsible for:
We offer you the ability to work flexibly and from a range of locations including your home and any of Barnardo's 13 collaboration hubs across the UK. You will have the opportunity to meet with your line reports and other colleagues regularly in-person to collaborate and connect. It will assist us in supporting colleagues to belong, thrive and grow in their colleague journey at Barnardo's and in time will offer clear routes of progression for colleagues in both their career and their pay.
Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band - this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
