Job summary

BDO UK in Manchester is seeking a Business Restructuring Senior Manager to lead defined workstreams on complex projects, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and mentor junior colleagues.

You will own project planning, financial management and delivery while supporting proposals, pitches and market initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Holding a relevant professional qualification (ICAEW/ ACCA) with appropriate experience.
• An insolvency qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Up to date understanding of regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Excellent written and numerical skills.
• Good organisational skills to manage time and deliver tasks.
• Willingness to learn and thrive on new challenges.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with broad stakeholder awareness.
• Confidently manage a range of assignments and cases.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for a broad range of assignments and lead defined workstreams on larger or more complex projects.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships and develop junior colleagues.
• Own project planning, financial management, quality and delivery.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, pitches and market initiatives.
• Prepare draft Independent Business Reviews and associate restructuring reports.
