This role will lead the Talent Deployment – Audit team aligned to KPE. It is responsible for managing a fixed book of work amidst complex regulation and accreditation requirements, ensuring optimal resourcing within the performance group. Proper resource allocation impacts quality, financial results, and people experience, which are key pillars of our strategy.

The role reports directly to the Head of Talent Deployment – Audit, with a dotted line to the KPE HoPO.

The role holder will ensure the smooth operation of the resourcing model within the KPE performance group, focusing on:

  • Demand planning, including portfolio pipeline awareness and wider portfolio management
  • Collaboration with relevant KGS teams related to resourcing and the performance group
  • Talent allocation
  • Operation of the Flexible Resource Pool
  • Identification and allocation of under-utilised or spare resources
  • Stakeholder liaison for conflict resolution
  • Supporting SOQM controls related to resource assignment in Audit

The role also involves supporting proactive change management to embed resourcing as a first-line responsibility and contributing to the strategic priorities of Audit and the firm.

The role offers opportunities to engage with various skills, including negotiation, process optimisation, transformation management, and team coaching.

The Role:

As the Audit Resourcing Senior Manager KPE, your key responsibilities include:

The Resource Delivery Model should:

  • Ensure engagement staffing and optimise utilisation, balancing workload fairness and quality
  • Operate clear escalation and resolution processes
  • Deliver forward planning for resourcing as per Audit leadership's agreement
  • Operate SOQM processes for engagement assignments with proper checks and documentation
  • Maintain cost-effectiveness using blended onshore/offshore workforce and technology
  • Collaborate with other KBS teams (e.g., Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition) for demand fulfilment
  • Provide accurate, metric-based data for leadership and stakeholder insights
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring Talent Deployment meets operational needs and fosters a positive colleague experience

Performance Management:

  • Manage Resource Managers and oversee team performance and recruitment
  • Focus on service delivery outcomes, metrics, workload management, and team development
  • Promote an inclusive culture aligned with KPMG values
  • Leverage MI reporting for performance insights
