The Amazon Freight Team provides transportation services for external shippers that use the logistics network we built for Amazon to deliver freight safely, on time, and at competitive costs. We offer shippers access to the same network of carriers, technology infrastructure, and tools that Amazon uses to move thousands of loads daily. Businesses of all sizes benefit from the costs and service levels of one of the world's largest shippers. Amazon Freight enhances Amazon's broader logistics network by utilizing empty miles and bringing in freight that complements our existing network.

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager with strong problem-solving, creativity, and operational rigor to lead the Amazon Freight Full Truck Load Operations and Support team. You will be responsible for driving improvements and enhancements to Amazon Freight’s operations, with a strategic vision and the ability to influence senior leadership.

Key job responsibilities

• Provide leadership and deliver results through the Amazon Freight Operations and Shipper Support Team
• Shape the operational strategy for Amazon Freight Full Truck Load
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives, balancing customer experience and cost
• Lead the delivery of critical business initiatives
• Manage project planning, requirements, risk, communication, and implementation
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership to ensure alignment
• Work with development teams, making project decisions to meet tactical and strategic goals
