Job summary

PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED is recruiting for an Accounting Services Senior Manager in Leeds. The role focuses on leading outsourced accounting, statutory compliance and high-level advisory services for large UK and international clients.

The successful candidate will oversee statutory statements, multi-entity reporting, and cross-border projects, while coaching teams and partnering with senior stakeholders. Hybrid work and a competitive package are available.

Qualifications

• Recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CA or international equivalent; ATT/CTA considered).
• Deep technical expertise in financial reporting with a first principles approach.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS; awareness of US GAAP.
• Proficient with accounting systems and Excel.
• Experience managing large, multi-entity or cross-border finance projects.
• Proven leadership including coaching high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and review of statutory financial statements.
• Management accounts and bookkeeping services.
• Coordination and control of local statutory reporting for cross-border groups.
• Guidance on statutory accounting compliance requirements.
• Improvements to financial reporting cycles, including production, audit and filing processes.
• Deploying qualified finance professionals on client secondments.
• Leading investigations, financial analysis and data validation exercises.
• Preparing year-end compliance documentation for audit purposes.
• Managing full statutory compliance cycles for multi-entity and international organisations.
