Job summary

Investigo is seeking a senior accounting advisory professional in Greater London to advise clients on IFRS and UK GAAP, M&A transactions, group restructurings and financial reporting matters.

You will lead complex advisory projects, collaborate with private equity and asset management clients, and help grow a high‑growth practice with significant stakeholder exposure and clear development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting knowledge across IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience in Accounting Advisory, Financial Reporting Advisory or a Technical Accounting function.
• Exposure to transactions, restructurings or complex accounting projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
• Commercial mindset with an interest in helping grow a practice.
• Interest in leveraging technology and AI to enhance client delivery.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of technical accounting and transaction-related matters, including M&A transactions, restructurings and IFRS/UK GAAP issues.
• Provide practical and commercially focused advice on complex accounting matters.
• Collaborate with clients across private equity, asset management and wider private capital markets to deliver solutions.
• Lead advisory projects and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Job description

Salary: £80,000 to £100,000 per annum + bonus

The Role

You'll be advising clients on a broad range of technical accounting and transaction-related matters, including:

• M&A transactions and business combinations
• Group restructurings and legal entity simplifications
• Technical IFRS and UK GAAP accounting issues
• Financial reporting and accounting policy matters
• Strategic and ad-hoc accounting advisory projects

You'll work closely with clients across private equity, asset management and wider private capital markets, providing practical and commercially focused advice on complex accounting issues.
