Job summary

CAnnection in London is seeking a Commercial Valuations Senior Manager to lead a varied portfolio of valuation engagements, working closely with Partners and Directors to drive growth and develop the team.

You will deliver valuations for accounting, tax, commercial and forensic purposes, apply techniques such as DCF and multiples, and build trusted client relationships while coaching junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Five years’ valuations experience
• Valuations experience in a professional services firm
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and report-writing skills
• Excellent client-management and business development abilities

Responsibilities

• Managing valuation engagements from inception through to completion
• Delivering valuations for accounting, tax, commercial and forensic purposes
• Applying techniques including DCF, multiples analysis, option pricing and intangible asset valuation
• Preparing clear, commercially focused reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders

We’re supporting an established professional services firm in London that is seeking a Commercial Valuations Senior Manager to join its expanding practice.

This is an opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of valuation engagements, work closely with Partners and Directors, develop junior colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of a team established only a few years ago.

• Managing valuation engagements from inception through to completion
• Delivering valuations for accounting, tax, commercial and forensic purposes
• Applying techniques including DCF, multiples analysis, option pricing and intangible asset valuation
• Preparing clear, commercially focused reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Providing technical challenge and input on complex assignments
• Building trusted client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
• Coaching and developing junior team members
• Contributing to presentations, thought leadership and wider marketing initiatives
• A strong background in financial and accounting experience with at least five years’ valuations experience
• Valuations experience gained within a professional services firm
• Excellent financial-modelling, analytical and report-writing skills
• Strong commercial judgement and client-management capability
• A professional qualification such as ACA, CFA or equivalent
