Job summary

Madison Berkeley in Central London is seeking a Senior Management Surveyor to lead client-side property management across a portfolio of commercial buildings. You will drive the strategy, governance and performance of service charges while maintaining strong landlord and partner relationships.

The role offers influence beyond day-to-day management, working with Finance, Asset Management, Facilities and Operations to optimise forecasting, budgeting and reporting across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within commercial Property Management.
• Experience with multi-let offices, flexible workspace, mixed-use or hospitality-led environments.
• Strong service charge experience including budgeting, reconciliations, reviews and cost allocation.
• Commercially minded with financial confidence and ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships.
• Experience working with institutional investors, asset managers or management agreement partners.

• Senior Management Surveyor | Client Side | Central London
• Salary: Up to circa £80,000
• Bonus: Circa 20% performance related
• Location: Soho, Central London
• Working pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home

I am working with a highly regarded Central London landlord and occupier that is looking to appoint a Senior Management Surveyor into a newly created client side position.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced commercial Property Management professional who wants to move into a more strategic, commercially focused role while remaining close to the operational performance of a high quality Central London portfolio.

You will act as a senior Property Management lead across a portfolio of commercial buildings, taking ownership of service charge strategy, landlord and partner relationships, contractual governance, portfolio reporting and property related escalations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Asset Management, Facilities and Operations, giving the role broader exposure than a traditional managing agent position.

What we are looking for

You will ideally have significant experience within commercial Property Management, with exposure to multi let offices, flexible workspace, mixed use or hospitality led environments.

Strong service charge experience is essential, including budgeting, reconciliations, landlord service charge reviews and cost allocation.

You will also need to be commercially minded, financially confident and comfortable managing senior stakeholder relationships in a complex property environment.

Experience working with institutional investors, asset managers or management agreement partners would be particularly relevant.
