My client is a global management consulting firm with roots in Asia, this consultancy specialises in digital transformation and business process reengineering. Known for its hands-on approach, the firm combines strategy, operations, and IT implementation to drive sustainable change. With a strong presence in Asia and growing operations in North America and Europe, it supports both regional and multinational companies in navigating complex business challenges.
Looking to build out their UK offering this London based, Japanese speaking Financial Services Senior Business Consultant will be the point of contact for Japanese financial institution clients. Establishing and maintaining trustworthy relationships extending beyond project frameworks.
About the Role: Responsibilities include a range of activities, including:
Qualifications: Over 5 years of business operations experience in consulting project roles or financial services environment. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, and Information Technology is preferred.
Required Skills: Working knowledge and experience in financial services in one or more of the following domain areas is preferred, but not required:
Preferred Skills: Fluency in both Japanese and English. Having a pioneering business mindset and a proactive drive to secure new clients and projects. Excellent critical thinking abilities. Strong organizational skills required to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Capable of creating, maintaining, and utilizing documentation to support project team efficiency and adherence to project timelines across multiple workstreams. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Outstanding oral and written communication, along with interpersonal skills. Effective time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint). Willingness to travel to client locations.
