Job summary

RES is seeking a Management Accountant to own day-to-day financial management of a portfolio of renewable energy entities in the Northern Europe Asset Management Finance team. The role covers operating assets and holding companies with end-to-end accounting responsibility.

Accountability includes monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, VAT returns and statutory accounts under IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102.

Qualifications

• Experience of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounting routines.
• Experience in communicating with non-financial internal stakeholders.
• Statutory financial statements under IFRS/FRS UK GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems and system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with journals and variances.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and distribution calculations.
• Assist in annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Oversee VAT returns and statutory accounts under IFRS/FRS102 UK GAAP.
• Support onboarding of new projects into the asset management portfolio.
