Job summary

DPD Group is hiring a Senior Management Accountant on a maternity cover basis at our Smethwick site. You will oversee the central reporting team, ensuring accurate weekly and monthly reporting, and support the Senior Finance Manager while mentoring the team.

The role requires fully qualified accounting credentials (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), a 2:1 degree, and strong management accounting and Excel skills. You will drive budgeting, controls, and timely financial insights.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in management accounting.
• Degree at least 2:1 and GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present clear results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly and monthly financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support Senior Finance Manager and mentor team members.
• Lead month-end reporting controls and balance sheet sign-offs.
• Manage annual budgeting process and year-end audit support.
• Develop and improve reporting processes for actionable insights.
• Ensure internal controls and policy compliance.
