Job summary

Resourcery Group is seeking a Senior Management Accountant in Liverpool to collaborate with the Financial Controller and Director to drive financial performance across operations.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, support month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and provide insights to non-finance stakeholders. The role offers a bonus, pension, flexible start/finish times, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills required.
• Professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and post accruals and prepayments.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Produce monthly reporting packs and financial analysis.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor costs, margins and overall business performance.
• Provide insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Support cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
• Assist with year-end audit and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes
