Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions are partnering with a fast-growing purpose-led organisation on the outskirts of Cambridge to recruit a Senior Management Accountant for a Virtual Finance Office Accounts team. The role is client-facing, leading finance operations, providing insightful financial management and acting as a trusted advisor to strengthen controls and identify improvements.

You will own client relationships end-to-end, deliver proactive financial guidance to stakeholders, and manage billing,

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience in practice and managing a portfolio of SME clients is ideal.
• Strong delivery and client-facing finance operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop client relationships end-to-end (onboarding → delivery).
• Provide proactive financial advice and commercial insight to stakeholders.
• Take commercial ownership of billing, WIP, recoveries, profitability, budgets and resourcing.
• Review/sign off management accounts and reporting with strong quality and compliance.
• Coach and develop junior team members to build a high-performing team.
• Drive process and tech improvement, improving workflows and controls.
• Identify and manage risk and see issues through to resolution.

Pure Resourcing Solutions are partnering with fast growing purpose-led organisation based on the outskirts of Cambridge to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join its Virtual Finance Office Accounts team.

This is a client-facing role leading client finance operations, delivering high-quality financial management services, and acting as a trusted advisor-providing insight, strengthening controls, and proactively identifying improvement opportunities. You'll also support internal team development and help drive exceptional service delivery.

• Own and develop client relationships end-to-end (onboarding ? delivery), leading meetings, reviews, and proposals
• Provide proactive financial advice and commercial insight to stakeholders
• Take commercial ownership of billing, WIP, recoveries, profitability, budgets and resourcing
• Review/sign off management accounts and reporting, ensuring strong quality and compliance
• Coach and develop junior team members, helping build a high-performing team culture
• Drive process and tech improvement, improving workflows and controls
• Identify and manage risk and see issues through to resolution

You will be ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent and ideally have had experience working in practice and working with and managing a portfolio of SME clients and be able to demonstrate strong delivery.
