Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions are partnering with a fast-growing, purpose-led organisation near Cambridge to recruit a Senior Management Accountant for the Virtual Finance Office Accounts team.

You will lead client finance operations, deliver high-quality financial management services, and act as a trusted advisor, providing insight and proactive improvements while supporting internal team development and service delivery.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualification (or equivalent) is required or expected.
• Experience in practice and managing a SME client portfolio is preferred.
• Strong delivery and advisory capabilities to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop client relationships end-to-end, including onboarding, delivery, meetings and reviews.
• Provide proactive financial advice and commercial insight to stakeholders.
• Take ownership of billing, WIP, recoveries, profitability, budgets and resourcing.
• Review and sign off management accounts and reporting with strong quality and compliance.
• Coach and develop junior team members to build a high-performing team culture.
• Drive process and tech improvements to enhance workflows and controls.
• Identify and manage risk and see issues through to resolution.

Pure Resourcing Solutions are partnering with fast growing purpose-led organisation based on the outskirts of Cambridge to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join its Virtual Finance Office Accounts team.

This is a client-facing role leading client finance operations, delivering high-quality financial management services, and acting as a trusted advisor—providing insight, strengthening controls, and proactively identifying improvement opportunities. You’ll also support internal team development and help drive exceptional service delivery.

• Own and develop client relationships end-to-end (onboarding ? delivery), leading meetings, reviews, and proposals
• Provide proactive financial advice and commercial insight to stakeholders
• Take commercial ownership of billing, WIP, recoveries, profitability, budgets and resourcing
• Review/sign off management accounts and reporting, ensuring strong quality and compliance
• Coach and develop junior team members, helping build a high-performing team culture
• Drive process and tech improvement, improving workflows and controls
• Identify and manage risk and see issues through to resolution

You will be ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent and ideally have had experience working in practice and working with and managing a portfolio of SME clients and be able to demonstrate strong delivery.
