Your new company
Our client is a well-established and reputable organisation based in South Belfast. They have a long-standing presence and an experienced finance team. The company is currently looking to expand its accounting team to provide operational business with the commercial information needed for timely and accurate decision-making.

Your new role
As the Senior Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Financial Director and Financial Controller to compile, consolidate, and analyse financial data to support strategic business decisions.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Tracking progress against budgets within established finance systems and reporting variances as appropriate
2. Collating and analysing data to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
3. Producing statutory accounts, managing monthly reporting, budgeting, re-forecasting processes, and preparing the monthly management accounts pack
4. Leading, coaching, and developing an engaged and motivated finance team

What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified accountant. Experience in a construction, engineering, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential. You must have experience delivering accounts in a fast-paced environment, with a keen interest in improving processes and procedures. Excellent communication skills are essential.
