Job summary

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced radiographer with specialist breast imaging expertise to join the Radiology team. The post includes delivering high-quality mammography services and cross-site coverage to support timely diagnosis.

You will work with the Senior Radiographers to maintain radiographic standards, promote CPD, manage rosters and workflow, and ensure patient safety. UK Registration and ability to travel to DMH are essential.

Qualifications

• Current HCPC registration in the UK is essential.
• Experience in mammography clinics and biopsy procedures is required.
• Strong knowledge of breast imaging QA programmes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in biopsy procedures and patient care.
• Organise lists, coordinate workflow and liaise with other departments.
• Maintain radiographic standards and radiation safety practices.
• Provide mammography cover across sites when required.
