Job summary

Circle Health Group's Meriden Hospital in Coventry seeks a Senior Radiographer to join the Imaging Department on a bank basis, providing cover during busy periods and annual leave.

You will perform general and specialised radiographic procedures, adhere to IRMER and safety policies, maintain low radiation dose while achieving high-quality images, and participate in training and peer review.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in acute healthcare settings.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Eligibility for UK Breast Imaging certification.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in efficient, safe operation of Imaging Department with high-quality service.
• Perform general and specialised radiographic procedures within scope of competence.
• Use techniques to minimize radiation dose while ensuring diagnostic quality.
• Observe Local Rules and Radiation Safety Policies & Procedures.
• Participate in supervision, training and peer review.
