Job summary

NEP UK in Bracknell is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to coordinate equipment through the maintenance and repair cycle, manage external repairs and ensure accurate asset records for quick deployment on live productions.

You will work with engineers, suppliers and production teams to keep OB trucks, flypacks and production systems ready, within a busy live environment. The role emphasizes organisation, proactive planning and meticulous documentation to support performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience within a technical maintenance, engineering, broadcast or similar operational environment.
• Experience coordinating equipment repairs and associated logistics.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
• An understanding of asset management and maintenance workflows.
• Experience working with external manufacturers, suppliers or repair partners.
• Experience using purchasing, stock or ERP systems such as Proactis is desirable, but training can be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate technical records.
• Good general IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with engineers, suppliers and colleagues across the business.
• A proactive approach, you’ll be someone who follows things through rather than waiting to be chased.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment through the maintenance and repair process and ensure documentation is complete.
• Raising manufacturer support cases and RMAs; coordinating external repairs and tracking progress.
• Prepare equipment for safe shipment and arrange couriers and deliveries.
• Maintain asset information, including exchanges, serial-number changes and disposals.
• Help plan preventative maintenance and track outstanding repairs for live productions.
• Ensure compliance, PAT testing records and certification are maintained.
