Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader for a busy manufacturing site in Abergavenny. You will lead a skilled team of six engineers on a double‑days shift, overseeing planned and reactive maintenance on 3‑phase machinery, hydraulics and PLC systems.

The role offers £50,000-£55,000 plus overtime (OTE up to £70k) and a company bonus, with rotating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts. This is a hands-on leadership position within a market-leading materials processing company.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance team in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong background in maintenance of 3-phase machinery, hydraulics and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of six maintenance engineers.
• Plan and perform preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery.
• Manage rotating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts with overtime.
