TSSI is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to manage, maintain, and improve mechanical building services across our London site. You will lead the mechanical engineering function within the Estates/Facilities Management team, providing hands-on expertise with HVAC, boilers, chillers, AHUs, pumps and related plant.

You will ensure statutory compliance, manage PM schedules, liaise with electrical and fabric teams, and drive energy efficiency and continuous improvement

Competenze

• Recognised mechanical engineering qualification in Building Services or related field.
• Substantial experience maintaining mechanical building services in commercial/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
• Sound understanding of statutory compliance relevant to mechanical building services (L8, F-Gas, etc.).

Mansioni

• Manage operation, maintenance and performance of mechanical building services (HVAC, boilers, AHUs, pumps).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements; maintain audit trails.
• Oversee planned preventative and reactive maintenance; diagnose faults and coordinate contractor support.
• Lead line management of in-house engineers; manage subcontractors and service providers.
• Coordinate works with electrical, BMS and fabric teams; participate in on-call/emergency rota.
• Provide input into design reviews and energy efficiency initiatives; support asset lifecycle planning.

Formazione

Degree or equivalent in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering

HNC/HND or time-served apprenticeship
