Job summary

Stonegate Farmers Ltd is seeking a Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our packing centre in Lacock, Wiltshire. The role focuses on maintaining a range of production equipment, leading fault-finding, and driving continuous improvement to support production objectives.

Ideal candidates have apprentice-trained or NVQ Level 3, with strong electrical and mechanical skills, experience in CMMS, conveyors, and PLC systems, and a proven track record reducing downtime in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained/time-served Engineer, or qualified to City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
• Food Safety Qualification Level 2 is required.
• IET Wiring Regulations (C&G Level 3) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and continuously improve a wide range of production equipment.
• Lead complex fault-finding and repair activities to minimise downtime.
• Support development of engineering best practices and drive continuous improvement.
