Qualifications

• Extensive IMS Systems Programmer background in a z/OS mainframe setting.
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining IMS and Datacom products.
• Experience supporting large-scale, production environments and complex incidents.
• Knowledge of mainframe operational practices, change management and service processes.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical direction for IMS and Datacom in the zMainframe environment.
• Develop, implement and improve IMS/Datacom services in line with standards.
• Ensure security, availability, resilience and performance against SLAs.
• Support upgrades, changes and automation across the platform.
• Participate in on-call rota and provide out-of-hours support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
