Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure Lead in London to guide senior engineering teams responsible for Unisys mainframe platforms. The role emphasizes security, resilience and cost-aware operation within a regulated banking environment.

You will drive architecture, ensure robust change management, mentor engineers and collaborate with suppliers to keep services reliable and compliant while moving the lab forward in agility and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading infrastructure teams for mainframe environments.
• Ability to own platform strategy, lifecycle management and roadmaps.
• Proven track record in incident recovery, root-cause analysis and preventative improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams responsible for mainframe infrastructure and runtime services.
• Own the technical integrity, availability, resilience, recoverability and security of the Unisys platforms.
• Oversee production service performance, risks, vulnerabilities and capacity.
• Drive complex infrastructure changes, including hardware refreshes, software upgrades and security remediations.
• Ensure changes are designed, tested, and governed with robust rollback and communication plans.
• Act as a senior escalation point during major incidents and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Strengthen incident, problem and change-management practices and drive automation across platform engineering.
