ACCELERATED PEOPLE MANAGEMENT LTD is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in London to lead commercial activity for M&E projects. The role focuses on budgets, procurement, and final accounts, with clear progression to Head of Commercial on major schemes.

Experience in M&E, strong negotiation skills, and RICS/MRICS desirability are preferred. A car allowance and immediate start are part of the package on offer for London projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge in the M&E sector (Essential).
• BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying required or equivalent.
• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities with experience.
• RICS/MRICS accreditation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, forecasts and cost reporting for mechanical and electrical packages, ensuring project profitability.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, tender comparisons and commercial negotiations.
• Prepare and negotiate payment applications, variations and final accounts.
• Manage contractual risks and work with project teams to control costs and deliver within budget.

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading M&E contractor at the forefront of its sector. This role is ideal for a Quantity Surveyor with extensive knowledge in the M&E sector, a Senior who wants to take ownership of the commercial team. This role comes with excellent benefits and the chance to work on major projects in the heart of London with clear progression routes into a Head of Commercial.

Our client is a well established M&E contractor who work in a variety of sectors, from MODs, commercial, residential and most recently data centres. They support building projects through all RIBA stages and have a strong design team.
