Job summary

Uneek Global Limited in Oxford, UK, is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead (Mechanical & Electrical) to own engineering delivery across a growing UK project portfolio. This senior role combines strong M&E engineering with team leadership across multiple complex projects.

You will oversee standards, coordination and performance, work with Project Directors and clients, and travel to project sites as needed across the UK and Ireland. A chartered or progressing professional is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience with a recognised mechanical or M&E contractor.
• Strong background in process mechanical engineering and pipework.
• Senior Engineer or Engineering Manager experience.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering complex projects within pharmaceutical, life sciences, semiconductor or similarly regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of design development from RIBA Stage 3 through to Stage 5.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and coordinate multiple projects.
• Chartered Engineer status, or working towards it, would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to UK project sites and occasionally to Irish offices.

Responsibilities

• Providing senior technical oversight across mechanical and electrical project delivery.
• Leading, mentoring and developing the UK Engineering Team.
• Reviewing design submissions, technical documentation and mechanical installation drawings.
• Overseeing BIM coordination, material planning and procurement tracking.
• Managing technical risks, design queries and engineering resource requirements.
• Supporting tenders, pre-construction activities and value engineering.
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards and UK regulations.
• Driving continuous improvement across engineering processes and delivery.
