Job summary

A leading construction consultancy is seeking a Cost Manager (Mechanical & Electrical) to join their team in Birmingham. The role, which supports hybrid working, entails leading M&E packages and projects, managing client relationships, and undertaking Quantity Surveying duties. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, possess strong M&E Cost Management experience, and demonstrate client-focused collaboration. The consultancy fosters an inclusive culture with a strong emphasis on personal development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar technical discipline.
• Preferably Chartered via RICS or another relevant professional body, or studying toward.

Responsibilities

• Leading M&E packages and projects from a cost management perspective.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Pre and Post contract Quantity Surveying duties.
• Preparing and issuing tender documents.
• Identifying commercial opportunities.

Education
