Job summary

Falcon Green in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced M&E Commissioning Manager to join a major residential development in West London.

You will lead commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, witness testing, and manage handover documentation to ensure the project meets programme and regulatory standards. Strong technical knowledge and programme management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an M&E Commissioning Manager.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and programmes.
• Understanding of commissioning procedures, ITPs, risk assessments and handover requirements.
• SMSTS certification is preferred/required.
• Experience on large-scale residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the commissioning of all M&E systems in line with the construction programme and agreed deadlines.
• Review designs and installations to ensure systems are suitable for commissioning and compliant with regulations.
• Monitor commissioning progress, maintain trackers and report against programme milestones.
• Identify installation issues affecting commissioning and coordinate with the project team to resolve them.
• Review subcontractor programmes, trackers, certificates and commissioning documentation.
• Coordinate and witness testing and commissioning activities, including consultant and statutory authority inspections.
• Manage the collation of commissioning certificates, O&M manuals and handover documentation.
• Oversee commissioning sequencing, four-week look-ahead programmes and weekly progress updates.
• Manage commissioning-related snagging, tracking and closing out issues.
• Chair weekly MEP commissioning meetings and provide regular progress reports to the wider project team.
