Job summary

Kingdom People is recruiting an experienced M&E Manager / Building Services Manager for a leading Tier 1 contractor in Manchester. You will lead the delivery and coordination of mechanical and electrical services from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover on high-profile schemes.

The role requires strong technical knowledge across M&E systems, excellent coordination and stakeholder management, and a proactive, collaborative approach to solving complex engineering challenges on

Qualifications

Previous experience as an M&E Manager or Building Services Manager in main contracting.
Strong knowledge across mechanical, electrical and building services systems.
Experience delivering large commercial, residential, mixed-use or healthcare projects.
Excellent coordination, planning and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

Manage design, coordination and delivery of M&E services.
Review technical designs, specifications and proposals.
Coordinate M&E subcontractors and supply chain partners.
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to quality standards.
Drive procurement, programme and commissioning activities.
Work closely with design, commercial and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and resolve technical and coordination challenges.
Manage quality assurance, testing, commissioning and final handover.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and project requirements.
