Job summary

PRO TAX in Glasgow is seeking an M&A Tax Director for Private Equity to lead tax advisory across acquisitions, disposals and restructurings. You will advise on deal structuring, due diligence and risk management throughout the lifecycle, while supporting financing and exit transactions.

You will build strong relationships with fund principals and investment teams, collaborate with legal and corporate finance, and lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, driving new business in PE and

Qualifications

Extensive deals tax/transactions/M&A experience.
Experience working on Private Equity and Credit portfolios.
UK professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA/CA).
WIP management and fee generation experience.

Responsibilities

Lead M&A tax advisory projects for PE and credit fund clients across acquisitions, disposals and restructurings.
Advise on transaction structuring, due diligence and tax risk management throughout the deal lifecycle.
Support investors, management teams and portfolio companies on financing and exits.
Build and manage relationships with fund principals and investment teams.
Collaborate with legal, corporate finance and transaction services teams to deliver integrated advice.
Lead, mentor and develop junior team members.
Drive business development and grow PE and credit fund client relationships.
