Job summary

Burberry in London seeks a Store Designer, Architecture to shape our global luxury retail portfolio. You will work within the Architecture Design Studio on concepts across regions, delivering experiential luxury environments with architectural detail and material storytelling.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor junior designers, and ensure design excellence across varied formats in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree level in Architecture or Interior Design as required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in luxury retail design.
• Experience in architecture design for luxury retail environments.
• Strong knowledge of current market trends and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead flagship and high‑complexity retail design projects with concept creation and spatial strategy.
• Develop and present highly creative design ideas using sketches, renders and 3D models.
• Produce detailed design packs including facades, layouts, elevations and construction details.
• Manage external studios and consultants and oversee design development.
• Source innovative materials and techniques while ensuring practicality and longevity.
• Mentor junior designers and communicate with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
