Job summary

Global Consumer Brand is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to join its team in Gloucester with a hybrid working pattern. This is not a traditional warehouse or transport role; you will approach logistics from commercial, analytical and strategic perspectives, spanning retail, wholesale and ecommerce supply chains.

You will own 3PL relationships, budgets and tender processes while driving cost efficiency and service improvements across a complex international network.

Qualifications

• Senior logistics/supply chain experience required.
• Strong 3PL and carrier management experience.
• Contract negotiation and tender experience essential.
• Commercial ownership of logistics costs and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Own global 3PL and carrier relationships.
• Manage logistics budgets, forecasting and cost control.
• Lead contract negotiations and tender processes.
• Produce commercial analysis and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement across logistics operations.
• Lead cross-functional supply chain projects.
• Implement systems and process improvements.

I'm working exclusively with a well-known global consumer brand looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to join its team during an exciting period of development.

This is not a traditional warehouse or transport management role.

We're looking for someone who understands logistics from a commercial, analytical and strategic perspective someone who can look at a complex international supply chain, understand where money is being spent and identify opportunities to improve cost, performance and customer experience.

The role

You'll take ownership across:

• Global 3PL and carrier relationships
• Logistics budgets, forecasting and cost management
• Carrier contracts, negotiations and tenders
• Commercial analysis and reporting
• Continuous improvement across the logistics operation
• Cross-functional supply chain projects
• Systems and process improvements
• Ecommerce and third-party channel integrations
• Supplier performance and relationship management
• Leading and developing a small analytical team
• Measuring project benefits and ROI

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, turning data and strategy into tangible improvements across a complex retail, wholesale and ecommerce supply chain.

What we're looking for
