Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to lead major project logistics, mobilisation and site set-up. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and coordination with central logistics teams.

You will oversee materials forecasting, transport planning across road, rail and ship, and ensure safety and sustainability in every movement, with potential site moves between London and Watford.

Qualifications

• Experience creating major project logistics strategy documents.
• Forecasting materials, flow development and reporting.
• Transport planning across road, rail and shipping.
• Experience with site mobilisation and handover to operations.
• Familiarity with Construction Consolidation Centres (CCC).
• Strong data analysis and reporting for construction activities.
• Knowledge of safety loads and H&S standards for pedestrian access.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics strategy and mobilisation plans for major projects.
• Forecast material movements and manage delivery systems.
• Coordinate transport profiles and vehicle movements.
• Develop staffing forecasts and monitor data.
• Support demand profiling for site utilities and design coordination.
• Collaborate with central logistics team to share best practices.
• Ensure sustainability improvements and safety compliance.
