Job summary

Sanderson is seeking an experienced FM Logistics Automation Operations & Mobilisation Manager to lead the deployment and ongoing operation of automation assets across multiple logistics sites. Based in the UK, you will oversee live deployments, ensure safe and efficient performance, and manage supplier performance against KPIs.

The role requires a strong background in mobilising large-scale automation within logistics and multi-site environments, with governance and continuous improvement focus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience mobilising large-scale automation assets within logistics, warehousing, or distribution environments.
• Strong operational management background with responsibility for multi-site performance.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and service contracts.
• Skilled in incident management, operational governance, and service improvement.
• Ideally from a logistics engineering background with a detailed understanding of automated logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobilisation and integration of new automation solutions within live operations.
• Ensure safe, stable, and efficient performance of automated systems across multiple locations.
• Manage supplier and contract performance, driving delivery against KPIs and SLAs.
• Implement governance, incident management, and service recovery processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reliability.
