Job summary

Cambridge Aerospace is seeking a Deployment Logistics Manager to oversee equipment, spares, tools and materiel for deployments. You will own the logistics deployment cycle across Mission Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure end-to-end readiness of deployed assets.

The role requires experience in defence logistics and deployment planning, with capability to support UK and international deployments and to develop scalable processes for increasing tempos.

Qualifications

• Defence or military logistics background essential.
• Experience managing deployment stores, spares and equipment.
• Experience supporting field operations, exercises or deployments.
• Knowledge of customs and export controls or dangerous goods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end readiness of equipment, spares, tools and consumables for trials, demonstrations and deployments.
• Coordinate with Mission Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing for deployment readiness.
• Manage deployment planning, manifests and inventory systems for asset accountability.
• Lead preparation, movement, issue, recovery and replenishment of equipment across UK and international deployments.
• Provide hands-on logistics support in the field.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and fault resolution to maximise availability.
• Develop scalable logistics processes and playbooks to support growth.
