Job summary

International Bank in the City of London is seeking a Senior Loans Administrator to join its Banking Operations team. You will lead daily operations, ensure accurate processing of loan transactions, and work with senior leadership to uphold risk and policy standards.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of loan products and standard market documentation.
Ability to interpret operational policies, analyse issues, and implement solutions.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Minimum 5 years' experience in banking operations, ideally international.
Experience with commercial lending and loan administration processes.
Previous team leadership or managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the Loans Administration team and assist with recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
Authorise departmental work within A-signatory authority levels and manage daily workload.
Ensure risk, compliance, and process governance across the team.
Oversee core loan operations: drawdowns, rate fixes, fees, transfers, prepayments, cancellations.
Review facility documentation and assess feasibility across syndicated and bilateral facilities.
