Job summary

Loveday is seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Assistant to help Members stay independent, active and engaged at our Kensington, Belgravia and Abbey Road residences. You will support daily activities, communicate with families and ensure events reflect residents' needs and preferences.

You will contribute to a welcoming, dignified environment, promoting choice and social inclusion for every member in our luxury senior living setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lifestyle Coordinator by identifying Members' social and recreational needs according to their likes, abilities and preferences.
• Liaise with staff and relatives about activities that may be beneficial, enjoyable and stimulating.
• Help produce a monthly, weekly and daily programme of activities and ensure it is advertised within the home and communicated to all Members.
• Coordinate with relatives and staff on special occasions such as birthdays and religious festivals, respecting the ethnic mix of Members.
• Connect with community groups and businesses whose expertise adds value to the care home.
• Work as part of the team to maintain high standards of care.
• Undertake reasonable requests to support residents' right to choice, dignity and respect.
