Job summary

Loveday & Co, based in London, seeks an Activities Coordinator (Bank) to lead and coordinate a varied programme of activities for residents. You will encourage participation, tailor plans to individual likes and needs, and work to ensure residents enjoy meaningful, social experiences within the care home.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating activities in a care/elderly home setting.
• Ability to design varied activity programmes and engage residents.

Responsibilities

• Organise and plan all activities within the home.
• Create and update a stimulating programme of leisure activities and events.
• Engage Members to participate while respecting independence and dignity.
• Liaise with staff, residents and families to tailor activities to needs.
• Assess and adapt the social activities programme to keep it effective.
• Collaborate with local community groups to involve residents in hobbies and interests.
