Job summary

Synnovis seeks a registered Clinical Scientist to join Liver Molecular Genetics at King’s College Hospital. You will interpret results, validate findings, and provide expert clinical advice to clinicians. Training, supervision and participation in quality processes are core to the role.

You will contribute to research, new techniques and service development within a busy UKAS ISO 15189 environment, supporting patient diagnostics across Synnovis Analytics.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Clinical Scientist with active registration.
• Postgraduate MSc in a relevant scientific subject.
• Degree in a relevant scientific subject or Healthcare Science.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Interpret and clinically validate results, communicating complex information to clinical teams.
• Provide training and supervision to junior staff and learners.
• Contribute to research, CQI activities and ISO 15189 compliance.
• Drive development of new techniques, equipment and tests within Liver Molecular Genetics.
