Hypersonic Labs is building HELIX, the ultimate open-world multiplayer sandbox. We’re an international team backed by $11M in funding from top gaming VCs, and we’re currently in pre-alpha. Our mission is to build a moddable platform that empowers creators and excites players in the same way Roblox or GTA roleplay servers do – but at next-gen quality.

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior LiveOps Producer to own production for our frequent release cycle as HELIX enters early access. You’ll manage the rhythm of updates (every ~6–8 weeks), balancing feature development with stability, polish, and community-driven improvements. You’ll bring proven LiveOps experience and help us scale our processes as we grow our player base.

This is a hybrid role: you’ll need to be physically present in our Guildford office at least 3 days per week (with potential for more during high-pressure milestones).

What you’ll do

  • Run production for cross-disciplinary teams (engineering, art, design, scripting, QA).
  • Drive the LiveOps cadence: ensure updates, hotfixes, and patches are scoped, resourced, and delivered on time.
  • Balance feature work vs. maintenance – keeping teams focused on what delivers value for a live and growing audience.
  • Collaborate with leads to set priorities, timelines, and resource allocation in line with the product roadmap.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively unblock issues.
  • Champion process adoption – ensuring our teams use the best tools, practices, and workflows for a live game environment.
  • Act as the connective tissue between leadership, development, and community-facing roles, keeping everyone aligned.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven LiveOps experience: shipped at least one game through early access or soft launch and managed its release/update cadence.
  • Strong track record leading cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-moving, startup-like environment.
  • Experience managing a frequent release cycle (e.g. every 6–8 weeks) and balancing new content with bug-fix/improvement sprints.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills; able to create clarity in complex situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce effective production processes (tools, reporting, sprint rituals, retros, etc.).
  • Based in the UK and able to work from our Guildford office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with games-as-platforms, modding, or UGC ecosystems (e.g. Roblox, Fortnite UEFN).
  • Understanding of GTA Roleplay or equivalent multiplayer communities.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5 production workflows.
  • Background with Lua or Lua-like scripting environments.
