You will collaborate with Product, Economy, Engineering, UI/UX, Art and Production to shape the future of racing games and deliver experiences that bring joy, inclusivity, and connection to millions of players.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and operating live service content for AAA games.
• Shipping seasonal content such as items, rewards, objectives, passes, storefront content.
• Experience using live ops tooling to implement, schedule, and maintain content; config-driven systems and reusable templates.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and delivery of seasonal and promotional content roadmaps, including 8-week seasons, 4-week delivery periods, and limited-time drops, ensuring alignment with live service vision.
• Define content pillars for each season and translate them into actionable plans; implement items, offers, goals, passes, and themed beats using live service tools.
• Partner with Economy and Product to tune content for fairness, desirability, and pacing; support healthy in-game economy, engagement and retention.
• Monitor content performance through dashboards and player feedback; guide iteration to improve player experience and content quality.

About the Role

This Senior Live Ops Designer role sits within the EA SPORTS F1 team and reports to the Creative Director I. The role leads the planning, creation, and live delivery of immersive, authentic content that connects with motorsport fans worldwide. The designer collaborates with Product, Economy, Engineering, UI/UX, Art, and Production to shape the future of racing games and deliver experiences that bring joy, inclusivity, and connection to millions of players.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end planning and delivery of seasonal and promotional content roadmaps, including 8-week seasons, 4-week delivery periods, and limited-time drops, ensuring all content aligns with the live service vision.
• Define content pillars for each season, translate them into actionable content plans, and implement items, offers, goals, passes, and themed beats using live service tools.
• Partner with Economy and Product to tune content for fairness, desirability, and pacing, maintaining a healthy in-game economy and supporting player engagement and retention.
• Monitor content performance through dashboards and player feedback, identify issues rapidly, and guide iteration to improve player experience and content quality.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and operating live service content or systems for AAA games (console, PC, or mobile), including shipping seasonal content such as items, rewards, objectives, passes, and storefront content.
• Experience using live ops tooling to implement, schedule, and maintain content, with a focus on config-driven systems and reusable templates.
• Deep knowledge of live service cadence, player motivation loops, and economy fundamentals, including sources, sinks, pacing, and reward value.
