Job summary

Alford & Bishop in Berkshire seeks a Senior Litigation Solicitor to handle a broad range of civil and commercial disputes, including insolvency, contractual and shareholder matters. You will build strong client relationships, contribute to the growth of the litigation team and supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff.

Shared secretarial support will be provided to enable delivery of high-quality legal advice.

Qualifications

• Senior solicitor with at least 10 years' PQE in civil and commercial litigation.
• Proven ability to develop new business and relationships with clients.
• Experience leading and mentoring a litigation team.

About the Role

You will be handling a broad and complex range of civil and commercial litigation matters, including insolvency, contentious probate, contractual and commercial disputes, shareholder, partnership and directors’ disputes, and consumer claims. You will also build strong client relationships, contribute to the continued growth of the litigation team and supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff. Shared secretarial support will be provided, enabling you to focus on delivering a high standard of legal advice and client care.

Candidate Requirements

They are seeking a senior litigation lawyer with at least 10 years’ PQE and a proven track record within a similarly sized litigation team. The ideal candidate will have strong business development skills, experience in team management and a demonstrable ability to supervise, mentor and develop junior members of the team.
